The Four Wheels of Life
When one wheel of a car is out of balance all four will wear unevenly and can't operate at optimum level. The four wheels of life are: the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. Attention must be paid to all four areas in order to be successful along life's journey.
"Just as your car runs more smoothly and requires less energy to go faster and farther when the wheels are in perfect alignment, you perform better when your thoughts, feelings, emotions, goals and values are in balance." -Brian Tracy "Schools must become concerned and caring places full of teachers who understand that teaching students to love themselves, to feel positive about their natural curiosity and in control of their own lives ought to be given at least as much attention as geometry and grammar."

Donations For the TEEN BALANCE Foundation Fundraiser
This year my husband Elvin Davis and I also founded Teen Balance Foundation. The Foundation’s purpose is to financially reward teens who have enthusiastically and passionately demonstrated their ability to live a balanced life beating the odds despite the challenges. The award supports their wish to fulfill a dream by using their gifts in a positive and purposeful way. Having taught teens for over 35 years and seen a need, I have decided to devote myself to helping teens pursue their dreams. The Teen Balance Foundation supports teens who display these qualities:
As a registered not-for-profit foundation our funding will come through the community and we are very excited to be announcing our first annual fund-raiser to be held June 16, 2005, 5:00 pm-9:00pm at the Jim Durrell Centre 1265 Walkley Rd. near Bank The guest of honour this year is Ottawa’s own Heather Purnell, a gymnastic Olympian. She was the most focused student I have ever taught and one of the reasons I launched Teen Balance in 2004. She is the perfect example of a teen fulfilling her dream. The media will be covering this event and it will be attended by a number of well-known personalities. A lot of excitement is being created about the presence of several Dodge Vipers at the event which represent the concepts of excitement, passion, power, and speed, along with being the Teen Balance logo. You’ll find more information about the Teen Balance Foundation’s first annual fundraiser and Teen Balance Inc. here on our website. I look forward to collaborating with you and wish you a most wonderful day, Sincerely, Sheila Corrigan To make a donation please contact Sheila Corrigan P: (613) 260-5953
