The Four Wheels of Life
When one wheel of a car is out of balance all four will wear unevenly and can't operate at optimum level. The four wheels of life are: the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. Attention must be paid to all four areas in order to be successful along life's journey.
"Just as your car runs more smoothly and requires less energy to go faster and farther when the wheels are in perfect alignment, you perform better when your thoughts, feelings, emotions, goals and values are in balance." -Brian Tracy "Schools must become concerned and caring places full of teachers who understand that teaching students to love themselves, to feel positive about their natural curiosity and in control of their own lives ought to be given at least as much attention as geometry and grammar."

Testimonials
"The mounting influences and pressures on today's teens necessitates that they develop the right coping strategies to allow them to keep a healthy perspective on their lives. The presentation to my students by Ms. Sheila Corrigan of Teen Balance was delivered with enthusiasm, was relevant to the hectic lives of my students and very timely as we head into the final and stressful weeks of the year leading to the June exams. It gave my students insight and practical information on how to maintain a balanced focus in the face of pressure. A must session for any teacher and student." Mr. Robert Gadoua "It is difficult to find contemporary images that attach well to the development of the youth today,
but Ms. Corrigan's Teen Development Program has hit the nail on the head. Using the model of a 'sweet car' Ms. Corrigan works through the areas of a young person's life; emotional, physical, spiritual and mental. Excellent graphics and the latest technology along with Ms. Corrigan's engaging manner helps students to contemplate their lives so that they can 'tune them up' and make sure everything is working right. Her insights allow teens to examine their lives and search for balance, so that they can 'get where they want to go.' Joan Sweeney "Sheila Corrigan has done an incredible job at combining important and relevant information for teenagers in a unique and eye catching format. Her positive attitude and her obvious passion for what she is saying is also so helpful in getting the students' interested and holding their attention." Heidi Recoski "The analogies Sheila used to connect to youth culture are very good.
JR McMackin "Sheila Corrigan has a great message for teens in her Teen Balance presentation. She provides a different way for adolescents to think reflectively about life and growing up. A valuable presentation at this critical time in personal development. Her positivity and optimism are contagious. " Daniel Coulombe "As a parent I see the incredible value and importance of Sheila Corrigan's program. It is our job as parents and educators to open our children's mind's, heart's and soul's to the potential that is within them and to encourage them to live a life that fulfills their spiritual, mental, physical and emotional needs and desires. Sheila brings a positive, fun approach to her presentation that makes it easy for teens of all ages to relate to. She provides an environment where teens feel at ease, safe and respected." Patricia
